• Christmas Party

• Tuesday 12th December

  We aim to be OPEN tomorrow (Tuesday 12^th December).

  Breakfast club will be on as usual from 8am.

  Children can arrive from the usual time (8:40am)

  To ensure everyone is able to get in safely, registers will be kept open until 10:00am if extra time is needed to get in to school safely.

  Children will need to bring a packed lunch, as I can’t guarantee the delivery of school dinners tomorrow.

  Children can wear winter footwear if they wish as well as remembering to bring warm clothes for going outside.

  Floorball players: Mr Clough will be liaising with schools on Tuesday morning regarding the matches planned for Tuesday afternoon. Please bring relevant equipment and clothing in case the matches are on.

  Should anything change overnight, we will inform you by 7am.

  Snow Closure/short notice school closure procedures

   

  It is time for a reminder about snow closure/short notice closure procedures. The numbered sections below outline how a message concerning unplanned school closure will be communicated to you.

  1. Gloucestershire ‘closed schools’ website: www.glosclosedschools.com

  2. We will also send a text message from our messaging service.

  3. Our website will also carry a message: www.willerseyschool.org.uk

     Please be aware that the website will be updated after the previous two sources of information.

  4. Local Radio stations will read out a list of closed schools in the event of snow or other ‘mass closure.’

      

     If all else fails (e.g due to a widespread power-cut) we will endeavour to have a notice placed on the school gate.

      

     Now would be a good opportunity to ensure that school has your correct, up-to-date phone number for the text-messaging service (and any other contact details). Please let the office know if you have changed your number.
