Our Space Ted, Wills.....
There was tremendous excitement in school as we launched our Space Bear, Wills, into space this week. The children learned about the science behind the large weather balloon that took WIlls up almost 39km above the earth, and then tracked his progress geographically using a GPS system. He took off from Willersey Recreation Ground and landed about 30km away near Worcester. There will be lots of activity in school over the next few weeks as we write about his adventure and look forward to him returning to us!
