  • Our Time Capsule

    Tue 16 Jan 2018
On Monday 15th January we buried a time capsule on the building plot where new homes are about to be built. Everyone had some input to the contents of the box, which included newsletters, photographs and a new £1 coin. Class 1 children (and staff!) drew pictures of themselves and Class 2 wrote about their aspirations for the future. And we included a photograph of our space bear, Wills, along with a write-up about his recent adventure in space. The capsule will  be re-opened in 2044 when the school celebrates its 200th anniversary. Visit the Gallery to see more pictures ....
  • Young Voices

    Fri 12 Jan 2018

We are very proud of the children from Class Two who took part in Young Voices at the Genting Arena this week. The children - and Mr Callaghan - had been practising a number of songs to perform alongside thousands of other school children at the arena and what a performance it was!

They joined in enthusiastically all day both at the rehearsals and the evening performance. Although we were just about the smallest group we were certainly very LOUD! Well done children! And many thanks to our chaperones, Poppy’s Mum and Tia’s Mum.

Visit the Gallery to see more photographs from the event.

  • New Library Books

    Tue 09 Jan 2018

The children were really excited to unpack the boxes of new library books that were delivered this week. Thanks to the generous support of parents, families and friends, the Friends of School donated a massive £1,000 for the school to spend on books. You can see more pictures in the Gallery.

A big thank you to Tia and Poppy for carefully ticking off each book against the list to make sure we had all of them delivered. Great job girls!

  • Elite Commando

    Fri 05 Jan 2018
Class Two have started their outdoor coaching with former Royal Marines, focusing on teamwork, problem-solving, positivity, first aid and challenges. All the children rose to the demands and enjoyed the refreshing and exciting approach. See the Gallery for more pictures!
