Thank you for your Readathon sponsor money and World Book Day donations, which have been collected for 'Read for Good', the charity that we have supported for World Book Day. 'Read for Good' provides books and story-tellers to the UK's major children's hospitals and funds projects that encourage children to read for fun.

We had a very special visitor to school today! The children were very excited. Afterwards, Santa told Mr Jackson that the children were "the best group ever"!

We have decorated our Christmas tree for the Village Christmas Tree and Flower Festival. This is now on display at St Peter's Church, along with all the other arrangements. Our tree is decorated with stars made by the children, each with a short prayer. You will also spot some stars that featured in the school play earlier in the week!
Do pop in on Saturday, 21st December between 2pm and 4.30pm to see the arrangements and share in some festive refreshments.
Our team of athletes from Class 2, who took part in the inter-schools indoor athletics meet at Chipping Campden School. Well done team for your valiant efforts!
All the children and staff had a wonderful morning on Tuesday 26th November, when we received a visit from Bishop Rachel, Bishop of Gloucester. We were also joined by Rev Scott, Rev Craig and Churchwarden, Rob McNeill-Wilson. Our guests enjoyed meeting the children and were particularly impressed by our worship, which was led by Class Two pupils and involved the whole school.
Our 175th anniversary mosaic is almost finished, and before leaving, Bishop Rachel blessed the mosaic and commented on how beautifully it represents the values and importance of our school, our village and our Church. Like the individual pieces of tile, each individual in school plays a vital role in making up the whole picture.
Bishop Rachel then led a service at St Peter’s Church, which some of the children attended with Mr Jackson.
