Bishop Rachel Visits Our School
Thu 28 Nov 2019All the children and staff had a wonderful morning on Tuesday 26th November, when we received a visit from Bishop Rachel, Bishop of Gloucester. We were also joined by Rev Scott, Rev Craig and Churchwarden, Rob McNeill-Wilson. Our guests enjoyed meeting the children and were particularly impressed by our worship, which was led by Class Two pupils and involved the whole school.
Our 175th anniversary mosaic is almost finished, and before leaving, Bishop Rachel blessed the mosaic and commented on how beautifully it represents the values and importance of our school, our village and our Church. Like the individual pieces of tile, each individual in school plays a vital role in making up the whole picture.
Bishop Rachel then led a service at St Peter’s Church, which some of the children attended with Mr Jackson.
