Nine life-sized sheep models are travelling around the 118 church schools in the Diocese of Gloucester over the academic year, as part of the Good Shepherd Project. Each school has been asked to decorate the sheep in an individual way, and to fill in a diary entry of how the sheep has been involved in the school and parish life, including photos or samples of inspired school-work. Willow's Diary can be seen in Class News under Class 2 ....
The children had a great final session with the marines as they built a fire pit and toasted marshmallows! Afterwards there were a number of awards for the children. We look forward to Class 2 continuing with their marine sessions next term.

We are very proud of our Class Two children for their effort and determination at the inter-school cross country event at Chipping Campden School this week. All the children finished the course and were awarded certificates. Thank you to parents who came and helped out on the day. Your support is appreciated very much!

The children had a wonderful time at the school disco earlier this week. … the perfect way to round off the school year. Huge thanks to Friends of School for organising it.

Class Two had a great time at Croft Farm, with land- and water-based activities and a great game of rounders (with music!). The group built a buggy and took turns at riding it, with the extra challenge of balancing a cup of water on their heads. They then prepared rockets and successfully launched them high into the air. On the water, they learnt how to paddle board and played games in kayaks. Mr Callaghan got very wet again, as he did last year!
Then they all went downriver kata canoeing and heard the story of two bank robbers and a sunken car, which they found in the river!
We are very proud of the children's attitude and behaviour and their willingness to try everything. Click on the Gallery to see all the photos.
Lots of parents came along to cheer on the children as they took part in a range of sporting activities on Sports Day. Click on the Gallery (under Children's tab) to see our pictures. Thank you to Friends of School for the much-needed ice lollies afterwards!
